Shipping & Local Pickup

How we get plants to you — safely and in the best condition.

Local Pickup Available

We offer local pickup in the Southeast US. Pickup is the best option for larger trees, fragile tropicals, and anyone who wants to choose their plant in person. No shipping fees, no transit stress on your plants.

To arrange pickup, add items to your cart or submit a request, and we'll coordinate a pickup time by email. Some items — particularly large container trees and delicate tropicals — may be pickup-preferred or pickup-only.

Shipping

We ship most plants via USPS Priority Mail. Plants are carefully packed with moisture-retaining material to ensure they arrive healthy. Shipping availability and cost vary by product type, size, and season.

Berries & Small Starts

Starter plugs and small plants ship well year-round. These are our most shipping-friendly products.

Spring Seedlings

Shipped during appropriate weather windows (typically March–May). We monitor forecasts and may hold shipments if temperatures are too extreme.

Tropicals & Passionfruit

Seedlings and rooted cuttings ship well. Larger established plants may be better suited for local pickup depending on the season.

Papaya

Papaya plants are fragile in transit. We ship small seedlings carefully, but recommend local pickup for established sizes when possible.

Trees

Bare-root whips ship during dormancy (late fall through early spring). Container trees in 3-gallon pots can ship but are heavy — local pickup is recommended for 5-gallon and larger sizes.

On Request Plants

Some specialty plants are grown or propagated to order. These are marked “On Request” in the catalog and typically have a 3–6 month lead time.

When you submit a request, we'll confirm availability, timeline, and pricing. On-request plants are specialty items — we propagate them specifically for you, which ensures fresh, vigorous stock.

Our Commitment

Every plant leaves our care in healthy condition. If a plant arrives damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours with photos and we'll work with you to make it right.

Tissue-culture berry plants are guaranteed disease-free — propagated under controlled conditions and tested to ensure clean, vigorous stock.
