Reka is a northern highbush blueberry released in 1987 from the New Zealand breeding program — one of the first cultivars from that program to gain broad international adoption. Vigorous and early-ripening, it produces consistently heavy yields of medium-sized dark blue berries with a well-balanced sweet-tart flavor. Known for strong adaptability across growing conditions and reliable performance where many blueberry varieties prove more site-sensitive.
